Inner Peace Healing Policies

  • Clients who have been ill with a condition that is contagious (cold, fever, or flu) are asked to cancel their appointment and reschedule it after feeling recovered for a minimum of three days. This is for the safety of our other clients as well as our massage therapists, and getting a massage during the acute stage of your illness will not help you heal. Your body is already activated and processing, as it should.
  • Massage does not constitute or replace medical treatment. Please discuss all health conditions, recent operations, and current medications with your massage therapist, and inform us of any changes in your health. Please consult with your physician with any concerns.
  • Your therapist will go over and complete an intake form with you. This is for your own protection and to help us best understand your needs and goals. This will be kept on file and your privacy will be respected.
  • Draping: All clients will be draped appropriately at all times.
  • Inner Peace Healing therapists are strictly professional. Please do not request any service of a sexual nature.
  • Every therapist reserves the right to refuse any client for any reason or end a session at any time.
  • We do not give refunds for treatments. We welcome any feedback our clients have to offer and ask that if you are not satisfied, you give us the opportunity to make corrections. We customize each massage to meet your individualized needs.
  • We try to accommodate same-day appointments and encourage our clients to call last-minute if they realize they have an opening, however, we ask that you respect our prior commitments and appointments.
  • We do accept tips, however, know the best tip of all is having you refer us to your family, friends, and coworkers! Referrals are our livelihood and are very much appreciated.
  • All fees must be paid on the day of treatment. We accept personal checks and cash. We reserve the right to charge $30 for returned checks.
  • We kindly ask for 48-hours notice if you need to cancel. If you cancel less than 24-hours in advance for non-emergency reasons, we reserve the right to bill you for the time. If cancellations become an ongoing problem, we reserve the right to ask for payment in advance.
  • Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.
  • Arriving late may result in your session being shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
